Soba-Tempura Gonpachi Gonpachi serves you traditionally hand-made soba made from real tempura. You can also order from a special seasonal menu. The selection from the set menu will include table d'hote and a la carte. These can be chosen at any occasion.
The second floor
Sumiyaki Gonpachi
Gonpachi will be serving Sumiyaki dishes cooked using the famous binchotan charcoal. You can enjoy your meal in a cozy quaint country styled inn atmosphere.

Step inside the embrace of traditional Japanese aesthetic beauty, a collection of distinct and raified spaces which stir the palate as well as the imagination. From the vaulted main dining room to the tranquil sushi counter, the private tatami rooms seemingly nestled into a vintage Japanese farmhouse and the bar space all conspire to transport the visitor to an earlier time and place, a traditional and richly antique Japan awash in the splendid atmosphere called Wa.
In addition to a wide selection of original, creative dishes the menu also includes authentic Japanese favorites such as soba (buckwheat noodles), delicacies from the charcoal grill, and stunningly good sushi. Come and enjoy the finest Japanese cuisine prepared using the selected fresh ingredients; fish from Tokyo's Tsukiji Market, not local, and soba noodles pounded right here on the spot.

The restaurant offers customers a self-service style where you choose from over 10 different dishes--including seafood, meats and vegetables--all wok-fried to authentic perfection. Stephane Vieux Joins Global Dining as Executive Pastry Chef

On Friday, September 1st, French pastry chef Stephane Vieux joins Global Dining as Executive Pastry Chef. He assumes overall responsibility for the confectioneries of the Decadence du Chocolat chain of chocolate specialty stores as well as the desserts served at all of our domestic and overseas restaurants and cafes. A well-known and established creative chef, Stephane brings forward a new taste melding Japanese flavor sensibilities and long French tradition, presented with delicacy and originality.
From Fall through Winter of this year Stephane will take control of all sweets and desserts at our dinner and casual restaurants, Decadence du Chocolat, and the new Gonpachi Beverly Hills opening in Los Angeles this Fall. Chayamachi, located next to Umeda Station, is a quaint district of old residences and narrow alleyways relatively unchanged as the rest of the city has moderninzed. It's a thriving, popular area populated with many distinctive shops, and out of this area was born Urban Terrace Chayamachi, a unique structure comprising three buildings with four floors each. Cafe la Boheme on the 3rd floor and Monsoon cafe the 4th, with each occupying more than 330 square meters of space.
It is with great anticipation that we look forward to our first locations in the Kansai area, and we hope you do as well!
